(Syracuse, NY): Solvay Bank recently awarded 10 local non-profit organizations a $5,000 grant as part of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York’s Small Business Recovery Grant (SBGR) Program.
The grant focuses on supporting small businesses and non-profit organizations that have faced economic challenges due to inflation, supply-chain constraints and/or rising energy costs. Funds may be used for reasonable and necessary expenses. Solvay Bank awarded grant checks to the 10 local recipients in August. The recipients included Exceptional Family Resources, Home HeadQuarters, Honor Flight Syracuse, North Area Meals on Wheels, St. Camillus Health & Rehab, Victory for Vets, Solvay Geddes Community Youth Center, Howlett Hill Volunteer Fire Department, Solvay Volunteer Fire Department and Taunton Fire Department.
