(Syracuse, NY): Solvay Bank, the oldest community bank established in Onondaga County, is pleased to announce the addition of Faiz Ahmad Rahmati to its team as Assistant Branch Manager at the State Tower Office.
Faiz brings over 10 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in branch management, having served as a Branch Manager throughout this time. Prior to transitioning into banking, Faiz worked as an English Language Instructor and served as an Interpreter for the US Military. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Marketing, and Psychology from Bangalore University, India, graduating with First Class honors.
Faiz has a proven track record in the banking industry, having received multiple prestigious awards. These include a Certificate of Excellence from the CEO of the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan for his outstanding performance in 2020 and recognition as Best Branch Manager for both 2017 and 2018. His dedication has earned him further accolades, such as a Certificate of Appreciation from the Management Board of Bakhtar Bank and recognition from the Afghanistan Institute of Banking & Finance for his contributions to Agriculture Value Chain Finance. These achievements highlight his leadership and commitment to excellence in the banking sector.
